Many football teams plan their training camps here at Club La Santa during the winter season. They escape from the cold winter in the rest of Europe - and with Lanzarote's warm climate and volcanoes in the the background the players regain their motivation and train harder.
Our full size grass pitch is the only one on the island of Lanzarote. The pitch is available for your use but it is essential to pre-book it in advance if you are a team. Teams will need to bring their own balls and be aware that the pitch unfortunately doesn't have any floodlights.
Club La Santa also has a smaller 5-a-side football area, which is open from 08.00 until 21:45. The 5-a-side has an astro turf surface enabling playing all year round. Weekly 5-a-side football tournaments are organised by the Green Team for adults and children separately.
