Gunn Rita Dahle in Hall of Fame

Gunn Rita Dahle, from Norway and who was both Olympic and World Champion in MTB in 2004, spent a couple of weeks training at Club La Santa earlier this month of January.

"It is a pity I didn ot know about the 2Stage MTB race of the last weekend of the month, because if I had known, I would have moved or extended my stay in order to be able to participate.

This place, Club La Santa and Lanzarote in general, is a perfect place to train in these Winter months, both for the climate and the good off road tracks in the neigbourhood.
I will definitely be bacl next year, probably in December, before the Christmas holidays, to get away of the hassle and stress that reigns in that period of the year, and then again in January, and I will try to plan it to include your race in my schedule"

Gunn Rita's portrait had already been added to the Hall of Fame two years ago, when she came for training to Club La Santa, but a new portrait is now replacing the previous one, with a smiling and happy Gunn Rita who was here with her husband, their little baby and her parents too.
