Lanzarote is a paradise for Mountainbikers. There are various off-road trails starting right here at Club La Santa. You will start your tour right here and won't need to follow any tarmac roads before entering the off-road paradise. You can follow the trails along the coast, enjoying a spectacular sea view or bike up a volcano and enjoy the most breathtaking views of the island.
The tracks are mostly dirt tracks with some tricky sandy and rocky parts. No matter if you are a beginner or a professional, we are sure, everybody will find its best off-road track. The island offers you the perfect Mountainbike conditions. Cannondale bikes and Mountainbike helmets are available in the Sports Booking.
The Green Team organises a weekly Beginners Tour and a Mountainbike excursion to the island of La Graciosa. Furthermore we organize the Off-Road Bike Marathon (40 K. & 80 K.) in the end of January. Club La Santa has 25 new Cannondale Mountainbikes (2002). The frames are made of aluminium and are equipped with either Shimano Deore or Deore LX components. The bikes have normal flat pedals, but there is a possibility to have SPD or LOOK pedals. Unfortunately it is not yet possible to rent bike shoes. The bikes can be rent for a maximum of 4 hours per day (morning or afternoon) depending on availability. Bookings can only be made at arrival in the Sports Booking.
