Bike Weeks with Geoff Cooke & Kim Marcussen

Die Woche wird in englischer Sprache abgehalten.

12th - 25th February 2016
Geoff Cooke and Kim Marcussen invites you to kick off the bike season under perfect conditions on Lanzarote. Improve your fitness, gain some valuable advice and make new friends.

The routes will vary both in length and difficulty, taking you to the far south, through the fascinating Fire Mountains and up to the north, with stunning views of the neighbouring island of La Graciosa. You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself with steep climbs up to Femes (a climb out of category) and the 10km long Tabayesco mountain climb. On the longer rides, we will stop for a sandwich and drinks.

Geoff and the guest riders will be available throughout the two weeks to offer guidance and talk to you about planning your training programme once you return home. This may include power and weight training to include in your programme in our Fitness centre. Geoff won his first UK National Championship in 1963 and has worked at the top level ever since - he can still cover 200m in less than 12 seconds, on a good day! You will see the team around the resort and are welcome to aproach them for a chat and to quiz them on their cycling knowledge.
