Play Time info
Parental/ guardian responsibility: A parent or guardian must accompany the children to Play Time to sign them in at the beginning of each morning. Children cannot enter Play Time alone. As part of the signing-in procedure, parents/guardians must give us their contact number or a specific location within the resort to contact them in case of an accident or emergency. For this reason, one parent/ guardian must always remain at the resort.
Please note that Play Time is not a kindergarten; if children are not used to being left on their own, we kindly ask that a parent stays with them until they feel comfortable with the Green Team members and are happy to remain in Play Time on their own.
The parent/ guardian must pick up the child in Play Time and sign out. Children are not allowed to leave Play Time without the parent/ guardian and permission of the Green Team.
Allergies, medical conditions and additional needs: If your child has an allergy, medical condition or any special requirements, please let the Green Team staff in Play Time know. Please note that the staff cannot take responsibility for administering medication or any other special medical treatment. A responsible adult must accompany children with medical conditions, special needs or potentially life-threatening allergies at all times. If your child has recently suffered from an infectious illness such as chickenpox, we will require a medical note to allow them entry to Play Time. This is to ensure that they are no longer contagious and reduce the risk of infecting other children. The Green Team reserves the right to prevent the admission of children showing any signs or symptoms of fever, cold, or sickness.
Diapers/nappies: If your child is not toilet trained, an adult must stay with them whilst they are in Play Time, irrespective of their age. There are no changing facilities in Play Time, and for hygiene reasons, it is not allowed to change your child in alternative places within Play Time. The nearest changing area is in the bathroom next to the Sports Café.
Snacks/ beverages: It is not allowed to bring snacks or any drinks besides water. We recommend everyone bring a water bottle to Play Time.
Personal items: Club La Santa cannot be held responsible for losing any personal items brought into Play Time.
Birthdays in Play Time: If it’s your child’s birthday during your stay, let us know at least one day in advance, and we will organise a small party in Play Time. You can bring the cake, and we will provide drinks and fun! Alternatively, if you wish to celebrate their birthday outside Play Time, please feel free to borrow the party material (balloons, flags, bunting, etc.) from Play Time.
Safety: While we strive to maintain the highest safety standards in Play Time, please remember that we are running a supervised play area only. If you would like your child to have individual attention, you are welcome to join them. In extreme circumstances, we reserve the right to remove a child from Play Time if we believe their behaviour may cause harm to themselves or others.
