The history behind the TRX system
TRX is short for Total Resistance eXercise. TRX Suspension Training was originally developed by special forces soldier Randy Hetrick and a team of US Navy Seals.
When the soldiers were sent on missions, they needed to keep in excellent physical shape. Therefore, the special forces soldiers developed the revolutionary training system, which actually turned out to cover all their training needs using very little space.
TRX Suspension Training has been tested and recognised by the sports world as one of the most versatile and complete forms of training. Elite athletes from such diverse disciplines as European and American football, handball, golf and triathlon enthusiastically use TRX.
