The class is an introduction to TRX, its fundamental principles and seven basic movements. We will explain how to set up and use the TRX suspension trainer. The focus will be on technique while getting a fun full-body workout.
This session provides a more challenging workout and participants should have a good understanding of the basic movements and how to adjust the equipment. Using gravity and body weight, our instructors will guide you through exercises that will challenge your core and give you a fast and effective whole-body workout.
This class incorporates the TRX Suspension trainer, TRX Rip trainer and our Club La Santa Bar Park. We will put you through an exciting and dynamic fully functional workout.

The history behind the TRX system
TRX is short for Total Resistance eXercise. The first unofficial version was created by Navy SEAL Squadron Commander Randy Hetrick in 1997, using only a jiu jitsu belt and parachute webbing. This invention allowed the soldiers to stay in excellent physical shape, using very little space. In 2001, Hetrick developed the first official version of the TRX® Suspension Trainer™ and it quickly captured the attention of athletes and their trainers.
The first instructor training course was launched in 2005, and in 2006 TRX entered the international market. TRX is now used by professional sports teams, in every branch of the military, by Olympians and MMA fighters as well as by the general public.
