TRX

 

TRX-training is a very effective whole body workout that improves your strength, balance, flexibility and core stability.

In TRX you use sturdy straps and handles, a so-called suspension trainer, and through movements and positions you use your own body weight as resistance.

You use a lot of muscles to keep your balance, also all the little muscles that do not normally get trained with more traditional strength and fitness training. With TRX you therefore train all the muscles every time, so your whole body, not just parts of it, become strong and flexible.

TRX at Club La Santa is very popular, and our classes are open to all (min. 15-years-old), from beginners to very advanced. People with shoulder and back injuries should be very wary!

 

TRX Fusion

Incorporate the TRX Suspension trainer, TRX Rip trainer and our Club La Santa Bar Park. Our Green Team instructors will put you through an exciting and dynamic fully functional workout.

 

  • Lots of groups for TRX and functional training every week, with inspiring and experienced instructors from the Green Team

  • All TRX groups, as well as most other activities, are free to use and participate in. We call it “all sport inclusive”

The history behind the TRX system

 

TRX is short for Total Resistance eXercise. TRX Suspension Training was originally developed by special forces soldier Randy Hetrick and a team of US Navy Seals.

 

When the soldiers were sent on missions, they needed to keep in excellent physical shape. Therefore, the special forces soldiers developed the revolutionary training system, which actually turned out to cover all their training needs using very little space.

 

TRX Suspension Training has been tested and recognised by the sports world as one of the most versatile and complete forms of training. Elite athletes from such diverse disciplines as European and American football, handball, golf and triathlon enthusiastically use TRX.
