In between the many activities at Club La Santa, you’ll still have plenty of opportunity to explore the island. Lanzarote offers fantastic weather, great nature experiences and plenty of culture.

Lanzarote is one of the Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean about 125 km off the west coast of Africa. It takes around 3-5 hours to travel to Lanzarote from most places in Europe. With a warm, pleasant, and stable weather all year round, it’s no wonder many people choose Lanzarote as their active holiday destination.

Lanzarote was recognised as a Biosphere Reserve in 1993. Discover its unique and breath-taking volcanic landscapes, beautiful sandy beaches, white villages, and a rich cultural heritage. The island offers a tranquil atmosphere and perfect conditions for an active holiday full of adventures.

Lanzarote is blessed with a mild climate all year round, with average temperatures only fluctuating around 8°C between summer and winter.

Summers are generally hot and sunny with temperatures between 25° and 30°C. Winters are warm, not quite as sunny, and often windy, but temperatures still range between 17° and 22°C.

The temperature around Club La Santa is often slightly cooler than the south of the island, making it perfect for sport and exercise, although the whole island is a paradise for sport lovers. Days typically start a little cloudy, then clear up in the afternoon. It’s the perfect setup for exercising in the morning and finishing the day relaxing and sunbathing by the pool.
