From the 24th of December 2021, face masks are mandatory in indoors and outdoors public areas. Remember to have a face mask with you at all times and to wear it in all public areas and if situations occur where social distance is not possible to non-cohabitants.
Type of face masks
The Spanish and Canary Islands authorities recommend using surgical/medical face masks or reusable fabric face masks. Face masks with exhalation valves must not be used. Club La Santa sells both surgical/medical face masks and reusable cloth face masks that you can use during your stay. You should be aware that your airline may have specific face masks to be worn during the flight.
You must wear a face mask in all indoor and outdoor areas unless you are:
eating or drinking at a table in a restaurant/bar
in an enclosed private area
laying on a sunbed
doing individual sports outdoors
being on your own in open nature.
It is mandatory to bring a face mask at all times and put it on in situations where social distance is not possible.
Only children under the age of 6 are exempt from these rules. Please note that you are not exempt from wearing a face mask in Spain even if you suffer from any physical or mental conditions that exempt you from wearing a face mask in your home country.
