Free access to our modern, fully equipped Fitness Centre
At Club La Santa you can enjoy the free use of our modern Fitness Centre which is fully equipped with a wide range of machines and weights from Precor and Technogym. It is perfect for everyone, whether you are just getting started with exercise, rehabilitating an injury or are an elite athlete.
Our gym is kitted out with the latest, top quality equipment. State-of-the-art Precor Fitness machines with interactive screens, Woodway treadmills, Concept 2 rowing machines, Ski Erg, and much more. If you are here for cardio training, we have you covered.
If weight training is more your thing, you will love our range of free weights and resistance machines. Train with dumbbells and barbells for all levels or if you are newer to strength training, our full range of Precor resistance machines are the ideal place to get started. If you want to do some weightlifting there is one weightlifting platform in the fitness centre but if you require more equipment for functional training, you will find olympic bars, kettlebells, medicine balls etc now located in the CrossFit area.
The Green Team instructors in the Fitness Centre are always ready to help and give you advice, so you can get the most out of your workout.
The Fitness Centre is open every day 08.00-20.00 (subject to change) with last entry at 19.30.
Training shoes and a t-shirt must be worn to train in the Fitness Centre.
You must be at least 15 years old to enter and use this area. Children aged 13-14 years can use the facility when accompanied by an adult, after signing a disclaimer in Sports Booking.

We offer individual and small group personal training sessions where a Green Team Instructor will guide you through a training session or help you with your technique.
You can also get a Basic Fitness Programme (1-4 weeks) or Tailored Fitness Programme (4-12 weeks) where one of our Green Teamers will personalise a fitness training programme for you based on your individual goals and needs.
You can take advantage of our Weight and Body Composition Analysis using the Tanita Body Analysis Scales. The scales work by bioelectrical impedance which measures the resistance of a small, water-conducted electrical signal sent through the body. You will get information on your weight, body fat, muscle mass, fat-free mass, basal metabolic rate and more. You will receive a copy of the results and they will be explained to you.
The test lasts around 5-10 minutes, costs 10€ and you can book and pay in Sports Booking.
Group training in the Fitness Centre
Introduction to Fitness
If you are new to fitness training, this is the right class for you. We will show you how to use some the machines and give you a basic programme, to start you on your fitness journey.
This class is designed to maintain and improve mobility, strength and flexibility. Whether you are a veteran gym member or a newcomer, you can enjoy the benefits of training in a group setting, making full use of our Easy Line equipment. This class is aimed at older adults or those recovering from injury.
For those who enjoy weight lifting, there are dumbbells and barbells in the fitness centre, where you can optimise your technique.
For Olympic lifting, we have a state-of-the-art outside CrossFit area near the South pools.
