The training Camp will be based at Club La Santa. The Bike rides will take in the beautiful parts of the Volcanic Island. You will practice riding in groups, bike handling skills and transition skills. You will swim in one of our three 50 m outdoor Swimming pools and also have the opportunity to Swim Open Water in the Lagoon. The Swim Sessions will be based on Improving your swim fitness and also front crawl technique. The Run will vary from off-road to the track, which will include running drills & skills.
There will be an opportunity to include a strength & conditioning session in the program.
As this will be a Family based Camp, the junior participant's inventory will differ slightly from the Adults. Their session will be mainly skills based on improving in all 3 disciplines of Triathlon.
There will be lectures and a Question and Answer evening where you can ask the coaches and test their knowledge.
There will be 2-3 bike groups for Adults and 1 Skills Group for Juniors. The Swim and Run will be set for the different abilities and ages.
All Athletes must be able to swim 100 m front crawl without stopping and must be confident in deep water.
Junior Athletes must be able to ride a road bike and be confident cycling on open roads.
We advise that juniors bring their own bikes. Club La Santa do have bikes for rent, but it can be difficult to get the correct size, and we have a limited number of bikes in each size. Adult bikes, however, we do have lots of, you can hire a bike for the week. Click here for more information.
